“Inti Raymi, or 'Sun Festival' in Quechua, is an ancestral celebration originating from the Indigenous communities of Inca heritage”

Every June 24, the 26 de Noviembre Educational Unit celebrates Inti Raymi, an ancient festival with Inca roots dedicated to the god Inti, symbol of the sun and life. This commemoration, deeply rooted in the Andean worldview, becomes a space for cultural exchange within the institution.

On this occasion, students and teachers actively participated, paying tribute through traditional dances, typical clothing, and practices such as the pampa table, an expression of gratitude and community. The event not only strengthened the bond with our roots, but also promoted respect and appreciation for cultural diversity.
